Frequently Asked Questions - Updating the Survivorship Care Plan Builder

By default, the Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) automatically checks for program updates every two days. If any are available, you will be prompted to download and install them. You can turn this feature off, change the frequency of update checks, change the download location for program updates, and/or change the installation settings in Configure Updates

Of course, if your computer is not connected to the Internet, you will not be able the check for updates, nor download and install them.

Select Configure Updates  from the Help menu.

Configure updates for the Survivorship Care Plan Builder

Make the changes you wish and select OK.

By default, the  Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) automatically checks for program updates every two days—provided your computer is connected to the Internet. You can also manually check to see that you have the latest version of the SCPB at any time. Simply select Check for Updates  from the Help menu.

If a newer version is available, you will be prompted to download and install it.

Yes, all versions of the Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) are backwards compatible. You will have no problem opening, editing and/or saving old Care Plans with the latest version. However, once you've saved a Care Plan with the latest version of the Care Plan Builder, you may not be able to open it in earlier versions of the program.
