Journey Forward’s Care Plans are just like any other document. You can store them anywhere you like on your computer or on a secured, shared network drive connected to your computer. By default, all Care Plans are saved in a folder called Survivorship Care Plans, which can be found in My Documents. Many users, however, choose to save their files in a folder on their password-protected Intranet, where they can be accessed by other secured users. No patient information is transmitted over the internet or stored on a public server; Journey Forward has no means of accessing your patient data. Please work with a privacy professional in your organization to make sure the Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) is integrated into your existing HIPAA compliance program and used in a compliant manner.

The Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) is provided to you at no charge as is. You are welcome to contact our technical support line if you have IT-related questions, however, we cannot assist you in filling out your paperwork for you.
The Cancer Care Plan Builder (Survivorship Care Plan Builder) is a Windows-based, desktop program. It is installed on individual workstations.
During installation, the user must agree to an End User Licensing Agreement (EULA). There are no licensing or service agreements required beyond the EULA.
The Care Plan Builder receive data from another application. For example, some registry vendors enable patient data to be exported in a file format that can be read by the SCPB.
The Care Plan Builder does not send data to any other applications or to vendors external to your organization. The Care Plan Builder does not transmit patient information over the Internet or store it on a public server; Journey Forward has no means of accessing your patient data.
The Care Plan Builder does not provide built in password protection, user authentication or encryption. Patient data (the Survivorship Care Plans) can be stored on a secure network drive at your institutions. You may apply security provisions to these files in compliance with your privacy policies.
You can store your Care Plans anywhere on your computer or on a secured, shared network drive connected to your computer. By default, Care Plans are saved in My Documents > Survivorship Care Plans. To change this location:
- Select Preferences from the Tools menu or sidebar (or press Ctrl+F).
- Enter the path to your chosen directory in the text box or select Browse to locate an existing directory.
- Select OK to save your changes.
